I've not read most of the post's but the ditherer tag does seem to have some truth to it, however during his time as manager he brought in some quality players at bargain prices, Pienarr, Arteta, Coleman, Lescott, Jagielka etc. Did seem to struggle when the budget allowed for more expensive signings though, Bily, Johnson, Yak. Anyhow, Up the Blues

Fact is Moyes was fantastic, especially when he got us in to CL and FA Cup Final. However he has gone now and he tried to stab us in the back with the Felliani and Baines negotiations which makes him a dick.
Moyes was always going to Man U and many Everton's fans recognised this and often spoke him up for the job whilst he was in our hot seat.
We had the best manager outside of Old Trafford and now he is there and we have Bobby.
Let's support Martinez, he's gonna have bad days and good days, **** signings and awesome bargains, just like Moyes did (let's hope more of the 2nd ones) but in 10 years I expect us to have won something with him.

Had to laugh at the Mancs tame newspapers trying to say that they had got Felli for 23.5 million and that Felli had paid the other 4 million himself, then Andy Myers almost immediately quoted on Sky saying that this was not true and that Man Utd. paid the full 27.5 million.

I think he used to be a genius in the window till 2007 when he brought in Pienaar, Baines, Jags and Yak. Add the likes of Cahill, Arteta, Coleman Lescott and Fellaini so we can say he was a genius with how he made them out of nothing really.
However, I think signings from 2008-2012 were just about okay cos I feel the moment he finally built a team around the likes of Cahills and Artetas he couldn't change that mindset of a team looking not lose and that showed. How well any other striker did we all know. He bought an out and out winger for a first time in 2012 in Mirallas which he could have tried to do a bit sooner. He consistently ruined any player who had an attacking talent with his over cautious approach. I just feel that he's a genius as long as he has little money but once he gets a few quid then he has no idea what player is needed and how to use him and that showed at United too.apart from that fact top players are reluctant to play for him cos he's won jack all

There are a few few sticks to beat Moyes with. The transfer market is definitely not one of them.
the question I have about Moyes in this window is why didn't he go for the up and coming ones who would have jumped at a chance to go to the premier league? he knew about the Dzekos, Cechs, Hazards etc when they were pretty unknown. why not get one like that?

Nobody really disputes that mate, bar the sometimes dour negative football and baffling substitutions - what we are annoyed at is the arrogance which he is showing at the minute which is completely disrespectful to us as a club and the fans who stood by him and clapped him to the end.
Not sure what he's playing at to be honest, he should know full well you don't want to play an angry Everton (remember Neville ploughing through Ronaldo on the follow through? 5 more minutes of extra time you'd have lost)
That's some research mate, but I always thought Lee Carsley was signed by Walter Smith. And weren't Li Tie and Li Weifeng forced upon us by Keijan?
