Be interesting now cos basically seasons over, and cold winter days, whether the smart Fans will vote with their feet and stop buying £70+tickets and their travel expenses to watch dross results and performances like this.
I think the inability to use someone else's digital season ticket might also lead to gaps on the terraces. I used to be able to pass mine on to other Blues I know but now it's only doable if they've got a membership or if I sell back through the club it's going to cost someone £70 which is a lot of money these days.

Voted stay cus when he came back i believed it was the right decision. Totally fed up with relegation battles, all I expected from him was stability. Possibly European football qualification at the end of next season.
Anyone who expected more has forgotten how he was last time. Sometimes good, sometimes horrendous! But definitely an upgrade on the past few managers.

We've got exactly what I expected. Anything more will be a bonus.

Upgrade will certainly be needed after a couple of stress free seasons tho.

Not so much stay or go, but when he does. Think most would agree this summer. But we absolutely need to make the right move, not just getting rid for the sake of it.

We have just spent 3 1/2 years as a bottom 5 club just hoping we stay out of the bottom 3 each season. then Moyes came in and all that changed within a week. I dont want to go back to the Dyche , Lampard and FSW days

Our squad is depleted. Moyes spent all summer complaining about the lack of players coming in. Its gonna take another summer window to give us a real reflection of where we are. We will finish in the top 10 this season under Moyes. That is progress. We took a decent team to penalties in the FA cup with a bench full of children and goalkeepers. No other manager is getting better results at this moment in time than Moyes would
Yup. Sometimes I feel people are on another planet.

If he makes progress and gets sacked anyway “for a change” without finishing his contract how is this anything other than change for the sake of it?

I think in modern football if you go on a bad run then people want the manager out. Look at the players we are missing. Almost all our best and most creative players. No one is doing anything with that squad today. I'm gutted and disappointed too but look at the bench today FFS. What are people expecting FFS?

Pensioner and bring a 14yr junior with me. ( 35mile travel ) IF! got tickets in the ballot, it would still cost me £108 to watch more often than not, a dross performance like today. And that only includes ticket and travel expenses.

Not a fan of mid season manager changes so it’s stupid to sack him now in my opinion.

I’m also not a fan of mangers being in their final year of a contract without one being worked on. Players just down tools knowing a new bloke will be in soon.

TFG have a decision this summer then. Either extend his contract and back him properly, or get a new manager in early on and let him have pre-season and the summer window.

City, RS, Utd and Spurs will all be looking to get someone new in the summer, so it could potentially work in our favour to get ahead of the crowd. Also could maybe be beneficial for a new manager to have some time to assess the squad before the summer window.

There might be no one worthwhile willing to take the job right now though, in which case there would be no point changing just for the sake of it.

Next managerial appointment is a massive decision. We've got some good young players, new stadium and investment - the opportunity is there for the right coach to come in and build a new Everton. Get it right and we have a real chance at becoming a proper team again. Get it wrong and things will spiral out of control fast, as we know.

TFG imo did a great job getting Gasperini at Roma, fingers crossed they can pull off something similar here.

This is very similar to a thread on a West Ham forum 2 years ago when they felt they needed to push on.....names mentioned where thomas Frank, Nuno, potter and Edward's at Luton. We need to be patient this season is still way better than the last five.

Football fans really can be moronic!
This. Simply this.

I despair sometimes on here. It’s like people’s memory of the past 10 years has been erased. I’ll stop short of labelling it entitlement, but IMO, the attitudes of some suggest they’ve learnt nothing from the early Moshiri era. Yes, we all want a new right back [and possibly a left back too]. It will change our game entirely, but you can’t build sustainable success in one window.

Shouts that ‘the season is over’. We’re a handful of points of the European places, FFS. Where were we this time last season?!?!
