The Glasner shouts are laughable. Just the latest hipster flavour of the month who you'd all turn on within a couple of weeks.

Aren't they just, he's been trouble almost everywhere he's been.
Treated Palace fans like 💩

Just in case people have forgotten, we had his twin, Koeman

Appreciate the mentality around not chasing current popularity but you're both wrong regarding flavour of the month.

The bloke has done it at every club he's been at. A massive, tangible difference at each Wolfsburg and Frankfurt before Palace. No coincidence a Europa League winner prior Palace, then goes an wins Palace a trophy. Palace don't win cups with Roy Hodgson. I'm not advocating him, but he's not just hipster flavour of the month after a run of form.

He done an amazing job with Bournemouth, considering the size of the club and there little spending power. He would suit us to the ground
I know they're funding this through selling players a lot of the time, but they spend a decent amount.

Anyone downplaying Iraola clearly hasn't watched Bournemouth play.

They might not know the likes of Alex Scott, Rayan, Jimenez, Truffert, or Kroupi, but don't let that fool you. They might not look like world-beaters on the team sheet, but they're playing us off the park because they actually have a clear structure.

Meanwhile, we’re still stuck over-relying on our starting XI and acting like the world’s ending the moment one of them's sidelined.

He binned off every club he's been at the second it suits him. His attitude is foul and he'd crap on us first chance he got. It wouldn't touch him with a crappy stick. Nobody would if you looked at him objectively. All the ability in the world means nowt when you have an attitude like that.

The same Glasner who could have won 3 cups by May…in 24 months

But yeah keep Davie as he won away at Man U and got us to 5th for a week in November
The same Glasner who has crapped on and binned off every single club he's been at the second it suited him? Yeah we would be better off. He's another Koeman just waiting to happen.

Harsh thread this, just think we could have been in the Championship with Dyche, Moyes doesn't get enough credit for what he's done imo.
I don't think he wants to stay longer than this contract anyway.
We've had a mixed season performance wise & should have won yesterday.

No idea who I want next, so many are weak in comparison, who can handle our club?
But say he only wants to stay for 12 months. Why are you letting him spend 150 million?

You either back him now and go he’s here for the long term or you get rid after the spurs game

That's football mate, god forbid he show some ambition. If he signed a 5 year deal at Palace amid their fire sale I'd be putting that in the cons column.

There's no way he's a hipster/flavour of the month though.

Having a manager who is willing to challenge off field decisions and recruitment policy would be a very good thing for us. We've had far too many previous managers let down by abysmal recruitment.

I'm not saying I'd want Glasner. And I probably wouldn't because I don't think we have the players for his 3 at the back system. But I like his willingness to challenge the ambition of the club he's at.

There's ambition and then there's being a blatant mercenary who will ditch everyone the second it suits him. That's what Glasner is. A user who will ditch us first chance he gets without a backwards glance.

Bournemouth are a tin pot club. Weight of expectation and size of Everton is a whole different ball game. In my view we need someone more proven than ex cherries manager that has still won nothing. At present Moyes is perfect to get a few seasons of stability and fix all the ingrained issues at this club.
