Moyes only given 6 million from Rodwell Fee

Away from the stats mate, Gibson is miles better in the midfield than Rodwell mate. You've surely seen that.

Rodwell has been potential for five years and nothing more. I struggle to remember five decent games he's ever had for us. Gibson makes the team tick over fantastically. This season will show again.

Not for me. Flatters to deceive.

I've said to ya, put Rodwell in Gibson's place from January when we got reinforcements the picture would be completely different.

It paints a nice picture when you're winning. Let's see him when were in the **** like Rodwells.played in more times than him

I think the whole money has almost gone by now. Pienaar's arrival will have eat into that £6m figure mooted.

He'll need to selll Heitinga to finance a bargain signing for a small fee and finance wages for a couple of loan players.

Like I say mate it's only what I'm hearing so I can't say it's true but the figure I've heard is £6m not £6m less Pienaar , who knows but I actually suspected moyes would get £4m is so unlike most I'm pleasantly surprised about £6m although obviously not happy if that makes sense ?

jesus christ , who the hell can we bring in for 6 mill . all the likes of dempsey and johnson we can probably forget

If anyone actually thought it would be any different and we would get this transfer warchest then they need their head examined tbh.

Its the same every year, it wont change until the cretins in charge of the club are removed.

Im hearing Heitinga AND Victor will be shipped out before the window closes aswell.

Opinions and all that mate but Rodwell does absolute nothing really. Plays within himself. No doubt he's got talent but he seemingly struggles with the confidence or drive to go with it.

Compare that to Gibson. Took him a few games to settle in but held good position and allowed Fellaini to be more effective, importantly he uses the ball very well. We pass our way out of defence with him and Heitinga. Could you see Rodwell distributing the ball out wide the way he does? Always looking to play a positive pass. Rodwell turns and goes back to the defenders.

Gibson has done more in an Everton shirt than Rodwell has. Like I said, name five games where he's played very well. Hard to do isn't it?

I'd rather have that figure confirmed by fox because it's always possible moyes wants that kind of figure to be out for public consumption for the footballing community if that makes sense ? However the figure that's out there is around and about that or so I'm told

I'm with you. Gibson can't get in the Republic side because of very ordinary players like Whelan, Lawrence and Andrews. His goal against City aside, most efforts have gone in to row Z. Maybe he'll be solid and understated. Maybe he'll grow in to the role. Maybe Junior's superior technique will out and Gibson will find himself on the bench.

It makes as much sense as anything else in this upside down, Alice in Wonderland world that Everton FC inhabit right now.

I have to say, I'll be shocked if he gets in any more than a Championship hopeful plus two experienced loan signings before September. That'll cost the best part £10M. Another one out and three in is my prediction. Which will leave us way down on numbers.

He's bit the bullet again on the summer firesale, just as he did last summer. I actually think that - as well as being complicit in the board's piss take on their way to a big pay out - Moyes also sees the situation as a challenge he can meet...operating with a skeleton squad. It wont stop him moaning when it goes arse up like. He wants it both ways Moyes, as per usual.

According to some, Everton are not a selling club.
