To calm your nerves. Peter Pannu has said he is not letting McLeish talk to anybody and as he has a notice period nap it will be a while yet till he can even talk to clubs (same as Hughes). Whether it's a month or a couple of weeks i dunno

Why would that calm nerves? It's just a few weeks.

Because in the small chance we are getting Moyes. Every single thing that has been mentioned about it (since I joined this forum) (even rumours about McLeish to you lot. Not saying I think they are real. This was a while ago so ignore it). Everything we've heard has always said Moyes would never leave you guys unless a replacement was already lined up and sorted. (one of the main reasons Randy wants Moyes and was put off Hughes) Our manager supposed to be done this week. McLeish can't speak legally for atleast 2.

So I'd rule out McLeish. IF it were to happen. An outside bet of Coyle to Everton withMcLeish to Bolton would be slightly more likely.

Don't bite my head off though. I agree it is unlikely.

That's settled the nerves down a bit mate. Still, I wont be happy until McLeish (who has Kenwright fodder written all over him) is manager elsewhere.

You must admit mate, McLeish hasn't resigned for nothing and walked away from £2M...he's going somewhere and I cant think of an obvious job for him other than Everton if Moyes decides to go.

I thought BK was Stateside ATM? Would be pretty hard to start something with nobody in the country. Randy upped and left the UK Friday night so I presume the balls already moving on whoever he's brought in.

Like I said before. Letters were sent to prospective managers about 12 days ago. Dunno who they were. One obv Martinez, Rafael another, Ancelotti the third. Depends who else we contacted. I presume Lcab or the other guy (THT?) would have found something by now of we made a move for Moyes. However I would be disgusted with our club if we didn't atleast ASK.

I don't often disagree with ITK's who are proven. But sorry. I honestly see no scenario where we approach Martinez and/or McLeish and Ancelotti but don't ask to speak to Moyes. That's just my opinion. But it would be bat**** insane to go for a top manager like CA and a youngun like RM but ignore the middle ground and last years top target in Moyes.
