You dodged it because that was blatantly obvious. Who from the club though? What profits that we are getting are going to straight in to the transfer fund and not paying off debts?

We arent paying off our debts, we are mainly just paying off the interest on these debts, we have money, we have the money from Sky, any profit we made last year and the record kit deal.

But we also have wages to pay and other aspects.

There is a LOT of money there, but its all mostly accounted for. I reckon we can safely spend £13-14m, but anything else and we start playing a dangerous game, thats the problem that Moyes faces.

I didnt say £13-14m was a lot of money, I said that the Club had a lot of money, but most of it is earmarked elsewhere.

I do think he should swallow his pride and sell Lescott. Its clear we need money to bring in players. 20 million+ for a player who does not want to be there should be snapped up. Forget the claims he and Everton are being bullied by City, and just accept an inflated fee for a decent but not brilliant defender.
