How significant is finishing above the red side two seasons in a row?

This time last Year we had no chance of 4th.

This Season we are right in the mix.

Yep we are in with an outside chance if we have a belting end to the season. Still no cups though and a manager who can't seem to make his mind up about a new contract.

I was more referring to some of the posts about his tactics and bottling games and on that score we haven't changed.

If you cant see that the football has improved this Season you should maybe follow a different sport.

Moyes has never bottled a game in his life, certainly not this Season.

If you get beat by teams like Leeds and Wigan, its not bottling it, its called getting beat by no marks, theres a difference.

hahahahaha ok you're on a wind up i get it.

The football did improve for 6weeks at the start of the season sure. Not been all that pretty since though has it, most fans have a stiff neck after the game from looking up after the ball.

Yeah, im on a wind up.

And your a kopite.

tremendous response that mate, i have a different opinion than you so i'm a kopite. very adult and mature i'm sure you're proud of yourself.

I take great joy in the fact you talked a load of sh*t then revert to insults because you are a bit clueless.

YAWN.

I like Moyes you know. Was down on him after the Wigan game, but I can't really think of anyone else outside your Mourinho's, Klopps or Heckenyes that I'd like to replace him with.

Mark Hughes? No Thanks
Martinez? Meh
O'Neil? Not after that Sunderland run
Lennon? Couldn't stand the bleating of the Lennon haters

Happy with him for now to be honest

He's got me in two minds again, the ginger tit. To be mixing with Spurs, Chelsea and the Arse with our money is crazy. I just odn't know if I can accept that in return for no tins!

He is brilliant at building great squads, and crap at using them to win cups.

Anyone thinking we'll finish higher than 6th or 7th with another manager is really naive, I expect us to drop to about 12th or 14th within 3 or 4 years under a new manager unless the financal situations change. But if we can win a cup in that time I'll consider the bragain worth it. What's the point in having a great team and finishing 5th if you get no trophies at the end of it?

Pick up a genuine motivator who'll push Moyes' side to a cup final purely on will power and I'll take the hit in the transfer market without moyes eye for a player.

I think that's a bit harsh. Of course we went a stretch of games where we couldn't get going for whatever reason, but I think recently we've had a good mix of short ball and long ball build up play. When we have players like Fellaini and Anichebe up front we would be silly not to hit it long from time to time if there are no short passes available.

Fair point

I thought some of the passing on saturday was lovely. Some of the best football I've seen the team play this season

Would your mind change if we finished top 4?

I think it'll take an idiot to take this squad and club to 14th within a few years mate.
