Moyes and Strikers

If we want any chance of finishing 4th we need him to have a second half of the season like he did last year.Although he`s still getting the odd goal (1 in 3?) and working hard he looks like he has lead boots on at times and is missing easy chances almost every game. Wouldn`t drop him though as i have faith in him.

It still makes me shudder when you walk past the Gwladys Street and you see "Everton sign James Beattie for a club record fee".

God, I think I could've bagged myself a few in that post-4th season, we were shocking all over the park.

Not wrong mate, even Johnson got 1 more than his tally the following year. Massive let down which is a shame because I think most thought he was going to take us up a level, scored so regularly before coming to us.

Jelavic - Has Moyes worked his "magic" and ruined another striker for us?

I think its just a case of more people know his allround game. last season he would wait in the box, step back when the ball was played in to create that yard of space and then slot it home, this season the defenders are sticking closer to him meaning he has to drift out wide and deep on occasions.
