Well its simple, they dont WANT to sell him, if they HAVE to let him go, they are gonna make sure they get every last Euro for him. I cant fault them, they have gave us a price and are sticking to it. I neither blame us for trying it on with a lower price, but sooner or later we either need to either pay the price or move on, hopefully there is some truth in our latest "offer", accept by Friday or BYE.

This all makes me think that the transfer market is just a game of musical chairs and the music is about to stop regarding the fees being paid for players these days. It's absurd.

Nah, I don't think this deal could land us in the [Poor language removed], as mentioned before, he's a young lad with a bright future and if anything his stock will go up.
I don't think Bill or any of the other cronies are that stupid to start thinking we'll qualify for the CL every year like the dumbasses at Leeds did.

What I dont like, or get, with less than 2 weeks left its clear we've got at least £16million in the kitty we we're going to throw at Moutinho. WHY CANT WE BUY SOMEONE ELSE AS GOOD FOR THAT MONEY?!!!!!

I guess most of you guys dont get the picture. Sporting doesn't want to sell.

They want to keep the player. But since they promised the player they would sell for a certain amount of money (25M euros), they are sticking to that.

If thats true mate, i think Bill has set himself up for a fall after the interview on SSN. I am a confirmed Bill fan but dont really see the need to speak about Mouthino in that level of detail so publicly unless he was hugely confident of it coming of. Not doing himself any favours.

So essentially we have been trying to buy a player for months for less than the club are willing to reluctantly sell him for.

That's the Everton way! :lol:
