Moutinho is miles better than Fernandes. Its too much money for me. We already have good attcking mids: Cahill, Arteta, Osman. Surely our focus should be on a defensive midfielder and Forward (if Johnson goes).

If we are going to pay circa £15m for him then I cannot imagine for a second we would have much other money for the quality and depth we need to add to the squad.

When a player this good becomes available and is interested you dont pass an opportunity like that up regardless of who you have in the squad

Fernandes has a potentially excellent all round game. He's got that mix of technical and phyiscal attributes that alot of midfielders can only dream of. He's strong, he's a strong runner, he's good on the ball, he can pick a pass and he's intelligent. I can only think of Anderson at Utd who has a potentially better all round game out of all the prospects in Europe.

Which is why we should buy him now and get the benefit of him being settled I have no doubt that Manny will become a real star I just hope its with us

If we have to sell AJ to fund moutinho so be it. I'm more than happy about it. With his ability to pass open defences, Yak would be the one who benefit most due to his finishing ability, not AJ.
