Joao Moutinho has opened the door for Everton to make a £15m move for his signature during the summer. Moutinho, 22, is regarded as one of the best players in Portugal and has been attracting interest from a number of top clubs across Europe.Everton boss David Moyes has been strongly linked with a move for the talented midfielder and could attempt to sign him after the FA Cup Final against Chelsea. Moutinho admits he is ready to leave Sporting Lisbon at the end of the season and is ready to showcase his talents in the Premier League.

The People is today claiming that we are very close to signing the Mout in the summer. They claim that personal terms have already been agreed, with the fee just needing to be agreed by the two clubs, which they believe will be 12 million. Lazy journalism, or are we actually back in the hunt? I expect many people will be sick of seeing this thread, but I sense the pages will be doubled by the end of August!!!
