Dont think he is a bad player, as someone above said 20 mil max. Currently a one good game in 4 player, be interested to see if Koeman could get more out of him than the umbrella man at Newcastle could. He obviously isnt pants if he could get a game in that France team. If we offered 20 mil upfront and another ten on the never ever with ridiculous clauses that he will never meet like playing 200 games and winning the champs league in 3 seasons would anyone really be adverse to it? He does have it in his locker to put a foot in, just think motivation has been his big problem at Newcastle.

35 Million today gets you a relegated player who did practically naff all in said relegation season

I remember people thought the world was ending when Shearer went for so much money. These days 15 Million is the transfer fee for a Top Championship Player
