They brought in Lacazette who scored 27 goals.

That's why he didn't get much game time.

On a free and without huge wages I'd be reasonably confident this guy would get 10 goals given fitness and games.

If there no obvious fitness/injury issues, then I'd see this as a decent enough option.

Difficult season this year for him. Only three goals.
Second option for Lyon after Lacazette. Lacazette didn't set the world on fire at Arsenal and yet scored 27 this season. The french league isn't all that.

Or the player ran down his contract in lieu of a big payday, meaning they will want top dollar and their motivation is purely money.
