Yobo was supposed to be marking wheater, he failed to do so and this lead to their goal.

Jagileka was towards the back post marking the Boro attacker that pushed him in the lead up to their goal.

The ball never reached Jagielka because yobo failed to mark wheater (an attacker in the six yard box), wheater was therfore free to head in their goal.

You 2 should get your story straight, we do zonal marking according to dom, now your saying we do man marking. I will give you 5 mins or so to get your story straight

Of course i am, just because i think he is a good player - like most - and think he is far better than Yobo - like most?

The fact remains that Yobo decided to go up for the challenge thus being the defender in charge of dealing with the situation. The result was he was beaten and then so was Howard. I do however agree that Jagielka was ball watching and that picture proves it. Still we are in the semi-final so lets kiss and make up lads.

On the second half performance, everyone played so much better.

Wheater was INSIDE the six yard box and right next to Yobo, if yobo wasnt supposed to be marking Wheater who was he supposed to be marking?

Jagielka was not ball watching, he was placed in the exact spot the ball would have arrived if neither Yobo or Wheater had connected.

There isnt a lot more that you could have expected him to do.

What did you want him to do? say "Go go gadget Jagielka" and wind his neck infront of Yobo and Wheater and scuccessfully head the ball away?
