The charge has to be submitted against Fellaini by 6pm on Tuesday.

He'll be charged and banned and fair play to that. I'd honestly be disappointed if it's any more than three games though.

He's already served a ban for 5 yellows but i don;t think that comes into play when giving retrospective bans for violent conduct.

Also if the FA give him any charges for the 3 incidents what are they saying about Mark Halsey considering he missed all 3? We know how they like to stand behind their refs vbut it they pnuish him for all it looks really bad on Halsey.

Probably just be a 3 for the headbutt.

after the man hug he felt felli needed every time though! his fault that he didnt know that the belgain ok morocon show of love is either a headbut or a punch!! FFS! WAVES FLAG AND RUBS MY 100'S OF BADGES!

That's it mate. In Felli's culture, a head butt is a sign of respect.......

It's not a witch hunt to point out that head butting someone is wrong and worthy of a ban.

I hate this saying but you really do sound like a Kopite there.

How so? Not condoning what hes done. But theres been zero deflection or protection for the player.

We've just hung him out to dry.

From now on its not going to be Fellaini the player of the year, its gonna be Felliani the dirty **** who headbutts players.

You will be fuming when Suarez is on the footballer of the year list and Felliani isnt.

We're too easy to throw our own under the bus as a moral victory than telling everyone to just do one on the back of a player being a nob for 1 game.

Hes tarnished now and gone as fast as he can.

Why should there be protection or deflection ? He headbutted somebody and then after that he punched somebody.

It'll be just the one incident IMO. The headbutt was the severe one; the "elbow" happens in and around the box every single corner IMO and is just being highlighted because the initial headbutt happened. And the "punch" was a push he missed with.

If you're going to retrospectively punish every incident in that game, then Shawcross would be booked three or four times for tugging at shirts in the box. It wouldn't make any sense, because although it's a foul in the rulebook, you just accept the referee misses certain things.

The player and manager have apologised, Shawcross is completely unhurt, if the referee sees it then it's a straight red and that's it. There are no exceptional circumstances here to merit anything other than a three game ban - in my eyes anyway.

.

I can't argue with this. As proud as i am that we've not tried to just excuse him and blame anyone else, and thta he has apologised i wouldn't have minded if Moyes had done so but also raised the issue that he was being fouled all afternoon by Stoke and you just had to look at the video to see all the holding that went on.

Still right to condemn him but at least try and offer some kind of explanation but its not a huge issue really i guess and probably wouldnt make any difference.
