I'll go with Supergrass as most people only associate them with that Cheesy "Alright" song, but they have done some solid indie/rock stuff.

Revisited another old friend on Tuesday. Sugar's Copper Blue. Bob Mould from Hüsker Dü the singer and guitarist. What a record. I was at the Hoover Dam the day prior. That Hoover Dam is a tune.

Big Audio Dynamite did a couple of cracking albums and singles and had a pretty unique style for the era.

In fact Medicine Show seems very apt for these times.

Saw then live in the State Ballroom on Dale St in 1986.

One of the best gigs I`ve ever seen live, with one of the best crowds too - mix of white football casuals and the West Indian lads from L8, plus a smattering of punks.

It was one big party from start to finish and I remember walking out ringing wet with sweat lol

He was brilliant though so I asked my mate about him and he got me into these.
