In an attempt to balance the GOT yin and yang - against the rather negative and divisive 'most overrated band' thread - how about a 'most underrated bands' thread.

If anything it might help us all discover some unknown gems that went under the mainstream radar.

Elliott Smith is my all time favorite. Despite a grammy nomination once nobody knows him.

Seen him live a half dozen times as least. So good. Sadly with the demons now.
