Thompson was a fake hard man, but Fowler's best days were long behind him. He did nothing for Leeds or City or anyone else after that.

He was around one in two at Leeds mate, but if my memory is right he had a hard time with injuries, stop and start.

Leeds had crazy mad forwards then, Bridges, Fowler Viduka, Kewel and Smith.

Mad thinking back to the very good players in that Leeds squad.

Hell of a good forward to go with that too, one o the best going for a few years there.
He was magnificent at his peak.
We all knew he'd make it.
The kid was on the AstroTurf over the road from our houses morning, noon and night hitting balls into the goals from all over the pitch.
He was just so much better than the rest of us by such a long way that we just knew.
