Amongst a litany of other things. The most significant thing that has happened to Everton in the past 20 years, is that we are essentially debt free. That is absolutely huge, this is done at a time when Revenues in football are increasing. The life cycle of the club over the past 25 years has been hampered by the debt. To be without it in such a short space of time, is the best thing that has happened to Everton in 25 years. What that does to the very life blood of the club now and the future of the club holistically is massive.
If people are reacting to a bad result and looking at the hierarchy for that, its nothing short of a lack of analysis and short term ism, same thing on transfers.
