2017/18 Morgan Schneiderlin

As much as I love him, he has looked very flat (to say the least) so far this preseason, especially in the Ruzomberok games.

The key word there is "Preseason" so no need to go full crisis-mode just yet.

Has he been THAT good since he joined us? I've seen a few neat and tidy performances but nothing that's made me think we've got a superstar on our hands. Hopefully he finds some form early on this season and starts controlling games for us away from home which is what we need.

In my opinion he's probably been our best player since joining in January for whatever that's worth. Nearly everything he does is pure class. He'll never be a superstar bombing forward and smashing them into the top corner, but he breaks up play and keep things ticking better than all but a few in the league. He hasn't looked too sharp so far and was definitely off the pace a bit last night, but I wouldn't worry too much.

I think the problem comes with him and Gueye together who are both great destroyers but aren't at all creative. Maybe Sigurdsson is the answer there, maybe Klaassen, who knows. But against the poorer teams especially, we need more from them than tackling.

In my opinion, it's tough to judge anyone based on these Ruzem games, b/c our intent wasn't necessarily to smash them, espeically on the away leg. The ultimate goal was to get through. That meant don't concede, and hit them hopefully for a goal.

I think we'll see a totally different way of playing vs. Stoke

Made up to see Morgan admit his poor form and show a desire to get back to himself for the team not just himself. He's still showing how much it means to him to be here.

Needs to be quicker with his decisions and look forward with the ball and spring the attack. Lots of players could do what he's currently doing.

An absolute shambles of a first half from this lad.

He does realise it's his job to take the ball / show for the ball ALL the time doesn't he? It's his job.

Absolutely shocking.

Get Besic on I say, he's got the courage to take the ball out Morgs is just passing sidewards doing my nut.
