Rooney regardless of how you feel never shyed away was always showing and finished the clubs top scorer from midfield. Evidently he was not the same player from Janurary, whever that be the introduction of Allerdyce or just his legs giving up on him we are yet to see.

Yet we still have some idiots hounding out Rooney and willing to start Schnderlin over Gana.

They are probably hounding out Rooney because of his past, his unprofessional conduct away from the pitch whilst being one of our players and the fact that he is rubbish these days. Rightly or wrongly because of the first two points it means that he gets very little leeway regarding the third one.

Hardly anybody likes Schniederlin so its not a very apt comparison anyway.
