2017/18 Morgan Schneiderlin

I was worried when we bought him because two different managers didn't only drop him but dropped him from their squads and there was rumours he didn't impress the other Utd players. That said Davies hasn't been playing great either.

Hopefully both will just play themselves back into a bit of form.
But a choice between the two of them, as to who to keep, is no contest for me.

When on, he’s a stunning player to watch, with a silky first touch and great passing. The question is, why havent we seen that Schneiderlin since before the summer?
If BigSam gets him going again, Schneids will win us points, but of he continues with the dross he’s been offering us these last months we have to sell him asap. Im having troubles seeing whos going to give us 20+ millions unless his form changes dramatically.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was a case of him thinking he's better than he actually is, and he's too good to be at a club like us.

The funny thing is (and I think I posted it when we were first interested in him) my missus's dad and brother are Man U season ticket holders, and they said at the time that there were rumours around the club about his attitude.

I'm confident that he'll rekindle his true form at some point this season and when he does he will be one of our better players once again.

He's been shamefully poor this season I'll admit, however I believe (well hope) that this is merely a poor run; talk of selling him feels knee-jerk.

It's easy for people to forget how highly he was heralded when he first arrived, when he played at Manure or his halcyon days at Southampton.

Doesn't seem a likely candidate for Bertie Big Balloches, tbh. Just on his background - 9 years with Strasbourg and then Southampton were he was a noted grafter week in week out. I mean something is very obviously wrong with the bloke and it must be partly down to attitude, but it's hard to see where it's come from.

I get the feeling he just thinks his career is on the wind down. He’s had his time at Man Utd and he’s got his French caps. Now he’s just got married, on a fat contract, seems content to just go through the motions.

I'm not sure how he wants to play, as a deep lying midfielder suits us. If he can get more box to box he has a chance. I suspect he might be moved on if we can get reasonable money for him.

I'd like to see him playing that deep he never actually gets out of the dressing room. Sell sell sell...... awful untrustworthy player.
Slightly off topic am just reading Allerdyce interested in signing one of Troy Deeney, Benteke or Andy Carroll pleeeeeease nooooooo!

I think it is a nailed on certainty that Fat Sam will buy one of those three or someone very similar. It is what he does, get a big unit in and lob the ball up to him. Depend on set pieces, play the percentage game. Provided a percentage is going into your pocket.

Turns his back on the defence/keeper when they have the ball, for a centre mid that's inexcusable. Rooney having to come in and be the the builder form the back. We had basically been left to lump it from the back and hand the ball over every time we got it due to this coward.
