Found this pretty startling today. Our defensive midfield was basically non existent. Their positional play was appalling. I'd start McCarthy and Davies when the former is fit again.

I’m not sure if McCarthy will ever be fit again to be honest.

Doesn’t seem arsed in the slightest. Never put a tackle in all game, which is good considering he’s supposedly a defensive midfielder.

Rolls Royce of a player , just purrs around the pitch and takes up beautiful positions in space , very rarely gets in the way of the ball , pure class.

This is what I don't understand. Baningime was motm for 2 games, unsworth said he was the best player on the pitch Thursday.

How is schneiderlin ahead of him....its almost like unsworth doesn't want to play the youth unless he has to...very koeman.

His form for us last season was ridiculously overrated. He did okay in a team that was playing well.

This year he's shown how limited he actually is. Waste of a shirt.

Last season we were bemoaning our luck, when he couldn't play at OT and the pit and the influence he had on the side.
Compare it to this season and we are bemoaning the fact he is fit and stinking the place out with his performances on a weekly basis.
