Who was cover for Gueye .... unfortunately after on promising game has seriously injured himself in training, this is hap[pening we sell players and dont cover the areas needed properly Snides should have been sold imo....
He had one good season his legs have gone he is so slow......
...I suggest Gbamin isn’t ‘cover for Gueye’, he’s a replacement. Replacements don’t have to be clones, they might offer the team a different playing option. We’ll only know if central midfield is covered properly when Gbamin is up to speed.
Sure, I just meant he's replaced him in the sense that at the moment he's playing where Gueye would have been. Obviously could well have been different if Gbamin hadn't got injured.
...yep, and even had Gueye still been here Schneiderlin could be covering if he was injured or suspended.

When all fit he is 4th choice and even then I think they should fit Davies in some how ahead of him.
....Davies lack of involvement is strange. As always, a players absence often overlooks how poor poor he was performing, but I thought Davies played quite well in the recent England U21 international.

Absolutely, I wasn't having a dig at Silva/Brands. Just maybe stating the obvious -- we miss Gueye!

I completely disagree. Besides not playing the same position, I like what Davies tries to do. He tries to drive forward and he tries to make things happen as well as trying to break up play. I still think he will come good but needs game time, perhaps dare I say... a loan?!
