All this talk of we want to do something this season is just hot air.

I am already putting our season on a knockout competition we normally go out in the 3rd round in.

But he definitely wasn't the worst player for us on Sunday - dare I say at times he did some things well...?

Thought he moved the ball forward quite well for once. A couple of good balls to Digne. Thought he was better than Delph yesterday, certainly gave it away less than him.

EDIT: I don't think he was good, by any means.

Schneiderlin was efficient defensively, too, making four tackles and completing one interception and one block.

Did they miss the part out where we lost 3-1?

A player who should have been moved on 12 months ago. No fight or commitment and happy to coast through games. Should be nowhere near the team.

He certainly is an annoying player to watch at present , moreso because there was a time when he looked like a player.

We should’ve paid to get rid of him. His mere presence on the pitch is a benchmark for the rest to slack.

It's incredible to watch a footballer that is so counter-productive. A total passenger who stifles creativity. Just looks for the easy pass, sideways or back. I understand that Gbamin was bought for the role he plays, but there's no chance Schneiderlin is a better backup option than the likes of Davies. Davies is hit and miss sometimes but at least he has the courage to lift his head and look in a positive direction and show a bit of commitment.

He can't keep starting and we really need to try and shift him at the next opportunity.
