He did well towards the end of last season and was just about ok on occasion this season - that is when using him as the basis for comparison. Personally I don’t see a single area he excels in and he plays with the intensity and enthusiasm of a milk float. I know I’m masking it well but I really don’t like him.

I'll give ou villa he was poor like everyone else. One of our better players in all the other games. Point remains though, Morgan could find a cure for cancer and there'd still be a large section that gives him abuse, he'll forever be a target

Schneiderlin is a complete fraud imo, his performances at the end of last season helped keep him at the club on his tidy wage but he cant perform consistently. I would genuinely rather play Davies and help him develop than play schneids as he makes the same basic errors as a young player and offers next to nothing the vast majority of the time. He literally makes up the numbers. Delph and gomes should be first choice with gbamin out imo then Davies, then schneiderlin.

FREE BENI BANINGIME

Showed promise in the limited action he got (mostly under Unsworth IIRC?) Schneiderlin's problem has been his lack of energy, so much so that some have been agitating for Davies even though he's not a DM. Beni's loan at Wigan seems to have been a failure, but there's a player in there. Not ready to step into the first XI, seems to be in Silva's doghouse, but should be in the squad FFS.

only players you'd say played better consistently were digne, Bernard and zouma. Everyone else where up and down while schneids just went about his business in a solid 7/10 way week in week out. Doesn't fit people's agendas though
