Absolutely. He's one of the few actually taking care of the ball. Beyond that, with Gomes in midfield he's basically playing shorthanded.

For someone who's a backup, he's playing really well. He's severely limited and his second yellow was a disgrace against Palace, but he's been good.

I would've moved him and brought someone else in as soon as I knew Gana was leaving, but he's been alright.

only players you'd say played better consistently were digne, Bernard and zouma. Everyone else where up and down while schneids just went about his business in a solid 7/10 way week in week out. Doesn't fit people's agendas though
