Why didn't the FA or FIFA step in and do something before it got so bad?

Attendances are up by all accounts and our game is probably the most watched it's ever been. 'Proper' football people probably hate the game but there's plenty of others to take our place

Football is not ruined. Football is not FIFA, or the Premier League, or UEFA, or the FA, or Everton. Football is a sport played, generally on grass, by 11 people or thereabouts with the aim to put it into a goal more than another. Don't believe that FIFA or any of the others are important except within their own 'professional' sphere of the game

Second half of the match yesterday we all got behind the team with ferocious singing and aggressive chanting. I believe it drove the team forward and put Sunderland under pressure. When the crowd is like this the team perform. We've got to keep this atmosphere going. When Goodison is ferocious, no team can play us. More of the same on Sunday.

Teams fear us anyway but with the crowd, it makes me or much worse for the opposition.

The atmosphere was abysmal in the first half, about 6 people singing allez allez allez oh. I'm not that arsed about the lack of songs but the "cmon !! f*cking get into em !!!" stuff is what makes Goodison shake to the rafters.
