Second half of the match yesterday we all got behind the team with ferocious singing and aggressive chanting. I believe it drove the team forward and put Sunderland under pressure. When the crowd is like this the team perform. We've got to keep this atmosphere going. When Goodison is ferocious, no team can play us. More of the same on Sunday.

Teams fear us anyway but with the crowd, it makes me or much worse for the opposition.

We've got to do it more. All we do is a Half hearted "Everton, Everton, Everton!" When the sides come out and a little bit at kick off, other than that it's dire!

It usually takes a bit of controversy to get going. Even if we score 2 in the first half, the crowd just don't seem interested. I think I prefer the angry side of things.

Hopefully it will be when Clattenburg takes to the pitch

We're not at a Sing-A-Long Sound of Music, we're at a football game. If people want to sing, fine. If they don't, let them watch the sport in front of them.

When the teams come out of the tunnel and enter the field, they want to hear the crowd roar and sing. Before the game starts we need to be lively and energetic hoping it runs off onto the players

When z cars used to come on and the players came onto the pitch they used to run towards Gwladys street and you'd hear a great big roar which got the fans going and singing. All of this walk up the tunnel, stand and shake hands fair play ****e ruined it.

Thought we were quite brilliant from the fans,to the team that 2nd half yesterday the way we got behind the team,i could not be more proud to be an everton fan,the effort we put in that 2nd half was class and we were so unlucky to lose-you would have thought they had 10 the way that 2nd half went,we just need to learn to play the game for as much of the 90mins as we can,and not just either play the 1st half/not the 2nd or vice/versa

Numbers don't tell the whole story - they were in great voice, singing all game and after the end.
You must have been sat near them. As someone sat in Lower Gwladys i heard them only once. And I'd guess even Fulham would sing after winning a game they weren't expected to win.

Question is, why didn't no-one sing at 0-0?
