I got a message back off Jim's ( monty ) daughter :

Dad is not that well at present, I'm his daughter. Could I ask you to tell anyone wanting to write to him to send any messages here and I will pass them on to him, I'm sure they'll cheer him up.

If any of you remember Monty , ( he had about 12000 posts on here ) his health has not been so good , and if I recall , he mentioned something about the doctors saying they were unable to bypass an artery to his heart or something similar .

I'm sure it would cheer the guy up if those who were friends of his wrote him a little mail , or perhaps wrote something in this thread , and I'll link him to it .

monty and coyney were pretty much the waldorf and stadler of the forum, both up for a laugh most of the time, and taking pot-shots at each other.
met jim (monty) at the coffee morning which is pretty much when he stopped posting.
great bloke and one of the reasons that this place is even here, get well soon monty and hopefully the dancing hamster will be back with us soon.

Sad to hear this, we have much to be thankfull for to Monty on here.

Such a lovely fella and hes been there and done it with Everton, he has had so many good times with the blues the rest of us would be lucky to see half of what Monty has lived through with the blues.

I miss him on here and its a poorer place without him.
