Monchi DoF

The story of Emery to PSG seems to be strengthening, hard to believe that PSG wouldn't look to complete the package with Monchi. Hopefully the attraction of building something lasting at Everton and the challenge of the PL will be significant to him.

More likely if he comes the reason will be we'll offer him such a huge wedge that he can't say no.

I fully agree with the appointment of a DoF, if properly implemented it will be beneficial for the club.

There is in my view too much tunnel-vision with Monchi in that role though.

Certainly if would be great if we got him but I'm equally sure someone else can come in and do a very good job.

The club won't be putting all their eggs in one basket.

It wouldn't surprise me if Eduardo Macia or a similar leftfield candidate eventually ended up in the role.

Monchi may be tempted to go with Emery to PSG, though agree with others that it would be a waste of his abilities and illogical going to a club of their wealth in a one-team league. It may be too much of a push given our current profile to tempt him here, though much credit to Moshiri for not bothering about perceptions.

They was talk of Emery going to AC Milan and Monchi following him.

They have some new chinese overlords at both Milan clubs now, both clubs are going to be spending alot of money.

It was PSG before, summer is awful for the ever changing football news
