True,contracts mean very little these days. So easy for any player to drop their level of training and match day performance and to start picking up niggling injuries.

I think his fate is sealed, not because he’s not good enough, I think he is very good, I just don’t think he particularly wants to play for us.

I think he’d be ok with it if he was starting every week like Lukaku was, but if he’s going to be on the bench he’d rather be on PSG’s or Juve’s.

The game was already gone from PSG when Kean came on the pitch and within a few minutes it was completely buried.
He was brought onto a beaten team who were playing against a City side completely full of confidence.

However, I think it does raise questions about what Pochettino thinks of Kean. It seems to me has drifted away from being a key player for the club since the managers arrival.
He certainly was very peripheral in both legs of the semi final.

I would not be completely surprised to see him back at Everton next season, due to a lack of interest by some and a lack of funds by others.

It just depends on his relationship with the manager. Does Carlo rate him? Did he know about him previously in Italy?

From what I saw in his limited appearances for us, he looked about Lukaku skills level but without the goals.
Haven’t watched him at all for PSG, would be interested to know if he’s improved.

Yeh I think that’s possible now. Poch likes working with younger players, his best time at spurs was when he was playing alli and others.

The money Levy will be expecting, and holding out for, will be ridiculous. Harry Kane is 28 years old with a ropey injury record. Levy will be holding out for £100m+. Why would you pay that amount when you could get a 21 year old goal machine like Haaland for something similar?
