Another shocking story it seems of Everton FC not playing a young player and throwing them on for 10 minutes a game whilst the fan base assume they are bad because they couldn't do anything in that time.

Then said young player going to look boss elsewhere when they are getting game time.

Clearly he didn't want to be here anymore because we weren't playing him. Why we weren't playing him is up for discussion but how can you expect a 19 year old to change leagues and culture at the start of their career and then wonder why he isn't the best player on the pitch for those 10 minutes a game is amazing.

Kean was good enough to play for juventus and psg , wasn't good enough for Everton.

Problem is juve and PSG are miles ahead of every other club in their respective league and can afford to mix up their starting team and drop points in a few games without having to worry about not winning the league. They also have other world class players to bail them out when certain individuals are not performing.

We can’t really afford to give young players those chances as evidenced by the fact Carlo would rather play iwobi at left back than an actual left back who has impressed in every game that he has played for us.

To let a bit part player who literally wanted to go out on loan do just that instead of sitting around doing nothing and being unhappy?

The alternative is Tosun and the question remains why someone good enough to play with Mbappe and Neymar, scoring 8 goals already, was "sitting around doing nothing"

I think he wasn’t happy to be on the bench at Everton. We’re loaning him out and he either comes back ready to fight for his season or we sell him on, hopefully for a big fee.

Dcl is better than kean.
I would rather kean went on loan and was successful then kean stay, and sulk.
Fact is if he is going leave anyway we may get upwards of 60m after a season a PSG. We would have been lucky to get our money back if he stayed on the bench

Well we would probably be moaning if he dropped DCL for him too.

It was a rare scenario where Kean couldn't get any real time in the team because the bloke in front of him was on good form and was never injured. We also never seem to pull away from teams enough to throw a player into the mix without any real pressure on them. Its usually either we put him on because we are desperate for a goal or he gets ten minutes at the end in a close game because a starter is beginning to struggle.

If we can get through to January with no injuries up front then I think its been a rare quality loan that has been beneficial to all parties.

We never played to his strength. You can see he is on shoulder looking for the through ball and skateboard Tom was lumping it up like he was Dom.
Ironically he would have suited James creativity

Agree to an extent but I would feel a hell of alot better about it if we had actually replaced him in the squad. As it is DCL has to play every minute of every game its ridiculous we have no back up of required standard same with Richy really as we saw when he was suspended. We weakened ourselves by letting Kean and Walcott go.

Deffo agree on Walcott. I didn't really get that one.

Thankfully in this case it looks like we weren't playing him because we preferred a player who is actually good in Calvert-Lewin
