Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for six weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Belgium international was set to feature in the Merseyside derby with Liverpool on Sunday, but has now set for a spell on the sidelines after manager David Moyes
confirmed the 22-year-old's absence.
Fellaini, who is set to miss important league games against Tottenham, Stoke and Arsenal,
is the latest Everton
player to succumb to injury and joins an ever-growing casualty list at Goodison Park.
The box-to-box midfielder joins Steven Pienaar,
Victor Anichebe,
Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell on the treatment table.
