FFS:

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Belgium international was set to feature in the Merseyside derby with Liverpool on Sunday, but has now set for a spell on the sidelines after manager David Moyes

confirmed the 22-year-old's absence.

Fellaini, who is set to miss important league games against Tottenham, Stoke and Arsenal,

is the latest Everton

Confirmed .

Out for 6 weeks .

Fukn marvellous .

Oh no. This means every time someone goes down this weekend (please god save arteta and cahill) - and we all know tackling in the Derby is a given, we'll be eating our fingernails.

Gutting.

But, at the very least we do have strength in depth. We have 5 (?) players out, and at the very least we can cover the positions.

That probable team doesn't look very good, but I agree it's the most likely. Would be tempted to let Osman play next to Arteta and see if that Claude Makelélé impression he was doing in about March last year (when we beat United, Sporting and Chelsea on the bounce) is still any good. That'd mean Bily or Gueye on the left wing though, I don't know if either of them are up to a derby at the moment.

This setback for the team will just make victory on Sunday that much sweeter.

Get well soon, Fellaini!
