Sad day, Eskandarian was one hell of a striker when he came into this league and he lead DC United to one of their best runs ever during 2005-2006.

Most of his goals were volleys and some spectacular ones at that. Including one against Real Madrid.
 

Sad to hear about Eskandarian; also about Beckham. I guess LA is getting the shaft on that whole sitaution eh? Beckham probably played more games for AC Milan than he did for LA the last two years, yet still got to come back in time to play in the MLS cup.

In other news, the Crew tied Toluca in a thrilling preseason match. The Sounders took a huge dump at Qwest on Thursday and laid an egg against the USL Portland team. Awesome.
 
Beckham's played 47 games for LA and 33 for Milan.

The Sounders' Reserves broke the string of not scoring by beating Seattle University 4 - 0 the other night! :lol: Back on track for thew season.
 
TFC traded Adrian Serioux, canadian international and one of our best defenders, for a 3rd round draft pick. its been two days and i still can't believe it.
 

The Houston Dynamo picked him up. Wikipedia says Toronto decided not to renew his contract. I guess they didn't think he was one of the best defenders. Either way a third round draft pick sure isn't worth much in my opinion.

i've become pretty wary of mo johnston's decisions over the past couple of years. brought it some really really poor players and shipped out some pretty decent ones
 

Charlston Cup(preseason):

DC United 1, TFC 0.
Goal: Moreno 62nd minute.
Red Card: Toronto's Santang in the 27th minute.

Moreno's scored a lot this preseason. Hopefully he can continue his scoring ways despite his age.
