Hello Baseballers.

The Mets look to have all but sealed a Wild Card spot.

Could someone confirm my knowledge on this?

As far as I can tell, there's 2 Wild Card spots, these 2 then play each other and the winner gets into the Play Off type games.

Is that right?

Just sealed, Cardinals out - Mets/Giants, next Wednesday in NYC. One game playoff to face my Cubs.

One more thing - "I have said enough for a lifetime, so for the last time, I wish you all a pleasant afternoon." - Vin Scully's last line.

Cubs fighting back into the lead in the top of the ninth, with one strike left to go in the season. Almora, Kawasaki, and Szczur lead the way. 5 - 4 Cubs.

Montero goes yard. 7 - 4 Cubs.

Exciting to say the least!

Call me a cynic though, but it feels like a proper cop out, claiming we've made the post season! We beat the Giants THEN were in, in my eyes!

I'm not.

No Harvey, no deGrom, no Matz, and Gsellman and Lugo coming from no where, to turn us round from two games under .500, to host of the NL Wild Card game, this mets team has some absolutely spirit, that I can ever recall from a New York organisation!

We got this.

You gotta believe!
 
Good game going in Toronto. 2-2 in the 8th. Some jackass Jays fan just through what looked like a full beer can at the O's left fielder. Reminiscent of the crowd troubles there last year as well

Maybe Pence will chuck a full can of PBR at Kaine and they'll arm wrestle for the tie-breaker.

This year anything is possible, even extra innings.
