Mirallas injured again

What is it with this lad?

Can't seem to play more than half an hour without his hamstring going.

Is this why we got him relatively cheap from Olympiakos?

Moyes said yesterday that it's very difficult to judge these things about bringing a player back. Well it was his call and it was wrong. Bottom line.

And if he was on the bench for the whole game and we lost, he would've gotten the blame for fielding a weakened side. A no win situation for him as I see it.

Surely it was the hamstring specialist's call?

Blaming Moyes is ridiculous. Same thing could have happened in training or in a reserve game.

The physio would have advised yay or nay...he doesn't make the final call. Buck stops with the man who picks the team.

Be interested to see his match completed stats for other clubs, he looks a Saha in the making - good player but stinks of Dettol from living in the treatment room.

Ultimately this is down to the pressure of having a squeezed squad. It's threadbare in terns of quality. Moyes has accepted that situation for years. Nevertheless, he had an option to leave him out in what wasn't ideal conditions. He played him and should carry the can for the consequences.

Let's just agree to disagree, as I'll still be at my laptop by tomorrow morning otherwise.

Surely its a decision reached by all three parties. Physio, player and manager all have to agree the player is fit and ready to go. Any one of the three says no and the player doesn't play.
