minor things that make you fume

I also posted a thread on this. I can't abide the practice.
When people start the sentences with the word, it seems as if they need a further millisecond or so to formulate a response.
Pure idleness.
I dunno. Like everything else, it's a fad. Similar was the habit folk had of saying "we need to have that conversation" and a few years ago, they were saying "Absolutely!" all the time. I don't hear those phrases so often now on the 26 bus into town!

I suppose language has many ways of developing over time and that's well and good, but I do think too much of the English tongue has been influenced by media coming from the USA.

Quite probably, because one of the first exponents of this phenomenon was Simon Cowell when giving his opinion on acts.

Just upgraded to the iPhone 8 from the iPhone 6, paying an extra £6 p/m. It's basically just the iPhone 6 with a bigger camera.

Wish Apple would actually start doing something different.

tbh I don’t get what they can do that’s much different? For all the gadgets and apps available I still only use the same stuff as I did on the iPhone 4 , the only things I use is the Internet, podcasts, betting and sports and weather & kindle apps .

I’m staying with the iPhone 6 til it breaks .

I’ve also just realised that on my iPhone 8 that it doesn’t have the usual socket for earphones. The earphones that comes with the phone uses the same port as he charger, meaning when these earphones break in about two months I will only be able to buy Apple earphones for £30 to replace them.

Disgraceful.

As I said mate, bin the them off at the end of your contract and tell them why.

There's plenty of other phones out there, so why stick with a company that you know are ripping you right get from the off

Suppliers kicking off because we’re discontinuing their products and as such are discounting them heavily because they never shift. Telling us we have to sell at a minimum RRP. Apparently Anti-Competition laws don’t exist.
