Ronaldo, Mandzukic, Higuain, Lakaku.... He wants his puppets playing on the biggest stage; the Euro’s is next summer and to be part of a squad and even starting for your country you need to be playing regular football at club level. Won’t do that as much with those other names around.

Also helps that he’s playing regular football in the worlds most televised league for a team who will play him week in and week out.
