Player Valuation: £2.5m
As soon as that goal went in we all knew what was coming.

The inevitable limp, half arsed performance that peters out into nothing. It always comes around just when you think they've turned a corner, but they always save it for that game that turns into a must win for us to progress.

People say "you can't write this", but you can. It's like watching the same season of your favourite tele programme for 20 years on repeat so that you know every line of dialogue in every episode.

Gary Neville got it spot on through the game when sky lashed up a graphic showing we had not turned around a game that we had been losing for 5 years.

It's boring. It's pathetic. The squad has evolved and changed in those 20 years, players come and go but this weak, loser mentality always remains. It's baffling.

How Ancelotti goes about changing it is how he'll earn his money. If he does, it'll be up there with his greatest achievements in football.

It's not even about mindset tbh, We have players who don't want to put the effort in apart from a few simple as that, When it's half time and your CM pairing has made a total of 2 tackles, That isn't mindset is it? No one wants to dig deep every week, Getting mud on the socks every week none of them.
We have the laziest disinterested bunch of players ever, Probably because we've chucked too much money at them.

Moyes got rid of it for a bit. Okay we didn’t win a trophy, but we were capable of beating Liverpool and Spurs. Moyes had better players though, to be fair.

Spot on. Every time we have a chance to step up, we bottle it. Against Villa early in the season - if we'd won, we'd have been in first place in the league, if only for a brief time, yet we lose to relegation candidates. We play Liverpool Reserves in the Cup and bottle that. Against Arsenal a couple of weeks befor ethe lockdown, if we'd beaten them we could have ruined their chances of making the Europa League; we lose 3 - 2. If we'd won today we'd have overtaken Spurs and Europe would still be a possibility. The team urgently needs a couple of leaders.

But play well the last few games when it didn't mean much and now when it is a 6 pointer turn up like that. Odd.

Overreaction. We were poor but still created a few moments. We need new players in som positions is all. Never been a more positive time to be a blue in recent history.

I give them the benefit of the doubt and say they just aren´t anywhere near good enough but you could easily be right too. Either way, they´re well off the pace and so are we as a club.

I do think there is some mental blocks but it's not the sole reason, The squad is just horrifically balanced. I mean I don't think it's a stretch to say we have the worst midfield out of the 20 teams in the Premiership.
