So BK said heres £15 million, go waste it on one player?, even if moyes had a budget of 10 million, he should still buy as many good players as possible.

£15 million isn't enough to buy 2 good players anymore really, so i don't know why your moaning at Moyes.

We've played Blackburn, West Brom, Portsmouth, Stoke and Hull.

United have played Newcastle, Portsmouth, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Sound that.

And last season when they had an equally poor start (before going on to win the double)?

Chill out. Every post is dripping with emotion. Try sleeping on things before posting after a defeat or something because we can't sack the board/manager/players after every defeat.

I don't want to sack the manager or the players. I'm fully behind the team and believe we have a good enough squad but it just looks like it's going to be one of those seasons...

After watching the second half I'm going to have to disagree. We played some excellent football for 35 minutes, every player was comfortable on the ball and they all wanted it.

Out attacking game has improved, it's all about getting the right balance and system. As people have said the new boys have just come in so we are going to be unbalanced. Fellaini and Castillo are good players though, given time I think they'll adapt and fit into our system.

Special mention to Big Lou, I watched the second half on Ustream.tv and he was excellent. Good touch, intelligent running and fast as [Poor language removed]. He looks useful in the air aswell.

The midfield also stepped up in the second half. Arteta dictated the game when he moved centrally, Cahill and Fellaini also got involved alot. It's all about the defense and goalkeeper, get it sorted and we'll be a force.

Because of the situation we face ourselves in naturally it's going to take time, we'll just have to get it sorted as soon as possible.

Agreed, we were much the better team in the 2nd half. Sort the defence out and we'll be just fine. Hope it's sorted in time for the RS game though. Also, was very impressed by Saha, given it was his first run out. If we can get and keep him fit, he'll be awesome for us.

The prem is very balanced this year. Last year where there were 5-6 truly putrid teams. Wigan, Fulham, Boro, Sunderland are all much better this year. The 3 relegated teams are playing well. Alot of teams, Even the top 4, will go through bad stretches. If the [Poor language removed] quit getting lucky, I think 60-65 points could make 4th. Blackburn, Bolton and NUFC aren't better but they aren't worse either. Only Spurs appear to be a much worse side (though they've been playing like crap since March). We are still only 3 points out of 4th for as lousy as we are playing.

Also, though I'd hate to say this, If Leige ends our UEFA cup then we shouldn't have to worry about fading at the end due to lack of depth.

Hope so mate, i do need you around here to put me back onto track.

Agree on Saha aswell, very excited about him.

We should've beaten Blackburn. If that'd been 3-2 to us things would be a lot different. To be honest though it's quite nice to have enough quality in the side that even when we play [Poor language removed] we score goals. Liege is gonna be a massive game now. We just need to scrape through like last year.

Lol get a grip, picking up away points even if it is a one point in the prem is what its all about, i bet im feeling better then a lot of pompey fans.

Hull arent a bad side, theyve taken some big points already this season almost all the promted sides have shown they can compete at this level so to just dismiss them is a little arogant.

Frankly im glad the games against the newly promoted sides especially the away ones are out of the way, its a bad time to be playing those siges at the begining of the season when their tales are up.

Theres more to come from the team forgetting that the sqaud has only had about two weeks to be intact and players joining all the time, we are playing with a lock of cohesian which evident due to late arrivals of transfers and injured players. Lets just be paitent. A lot of other teams are dropping points so lets just see how the things pan out i wont be panicing untill we are at least ten games in.

Worringly is another two goals shipped today, i havnt seen the game yet but they seem to be from set plays, we are scoring an awfull lot of goals if the back could tighten up we would almost be top of the leauge, who thinks it wont come? I think it will!

The defence is the Key. Just a side note Dean Marney gave the assit and was involved in their goals, he is like our nemisis he definitely has the indian sign over us.

Also we are being hounded by [Poor language removed] luck. Take away the Own Goals that we have been scoring and take another look at things. [Poor language removed] happens.

As long as he keeps fit he'll deliever the goods.

Be patient, mate. We're getting closer to be a team again. (y)

True. As average as we have been this season so far we are still right up there in terms of challenging for a UEFA cup place because all the teams around us are beating each other, no one really stands out.
How the hell can Portsmouth beat us 3-0 at ours then lose 6-0 to Man City. How can stoke lose to us at home and then draw at analfield. How can Spurs be [Poor language removed] and get a point at Stamford Bridge. All 3 promoted teams have gained good wins, Man City and West Ham in 5th and 6th and they already have 2 defeats just like us.

If we can sort our defence out we will be dangerous. If not we still stand a chance of a UEFA place if things carry on like this.

Three points behind the tally we amounted at the same stage last season, intrestingly the same points it would take us to get into the champions leauge places this season!

Still not worried.
