Hope he makes a good recovery, the football may or may not come later but that's inconsequential at this point.

I will say though, having driven a super car, my overriding thought afterwards was that you shouldn't be allowed to drive one on a regular licence just because you can afford it.

They're not like normal cars and you should be instructed and prove you can handle one responsibly before you can take one on the roads.

But that's not how money works, I care more that every third car on the road can blind me when travelling in the opposite direction because "screw you, I can pay for it and nobody can regulate how many people I inconvenience"

I take your wider point about licensing, but I promise they will go after scooters before supercars.

I don't disagree mate, but it's ludicrous in my view that we put significant restriction on HGV's and not cars that can do the best part of 200 mph.

And I'd ban scooters too FWIW, technology solely designed to move bellends from place to place.

I`m led to believe, that if you buy a new Ferrari or Porsche, a track day is built into the price, to learn how to handle it.

This was after several customers wrapped up brand new cars shortly after driving them off the forecourt.

Doesn`t stop you buying a second hand one mind.

Lamborghini apparently fly you out First Class to their track in Italy and put you up in a penthouse suite... So I'm also told.

Talking of Lamborghini.... a snippet from the Daily Mail...

The footballer had crashed his £210,000 Lamborghini Huracan into a bin shed of a family home in Balham, south London while dressed as a snowman after losing control of his car.
