Keane was getting back into position, he’s a defender. It’s a poor pass, you don’t put your CB in that position.

In an ideal world yes. But the ref is graded on his performance, by rule it’s violent conduct and a red.

Keane was looking at Fernandes when the ball is played to him. He had no idea Gana was choking up the ball to him like that. It's entirely on Gueye for passing to someone who had no idea it was coming. He could have also just cleared it himself.

This is a mad shout...but on current form compared to other players....he should be on the plane to the world cup. He's been immense this season.

Keane is literally moving towards the ball that gana passes then stops dead and all the time in the world to get to the ball before the shot happened and he just stood there staring at it having a brain fart.

But youve made up your mind and obviously little things like facts aren't going to change that.

Ive just watched it back about 10 times and it even looks like keane puts his hands out to indicate he wanta the pass.

Also gana has a player right on top of him closing him down. He was 100% right to play the pass

I have to agree with you entirely. I thought he was going to have a melt down when I saw his face after what happened but he was my man of the match in the end.

He put in a MOTM performance after that freak Gueye's outrageous behaviour toward him.

I hope Keane went in the dressing room after the game and smacked the little get all over the shop.
