2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

Was off the forum so couldn't comment but is it just me that thinks it was obviously deliberate and thus is a red card? Nothing malicious about it but you clearly know the difference in feel between hair and a sweaty shirt.
It lasted about half a second and he's looking at the ball for a header

It was clumsy but I've no idea how people can say its deliberate

Only Michael Keane knows if it was deliberate or not but this is the same fella who once showed the referee exactly where the ball hit him on the arm for a penalty. Malicious or not, he’s got a hold of the fellas hair and you just can’t do it.

Well it's not an accident, is it? Plus you'd just played a full match against him, you know he has a ponytail ffs.
I think it's definitely an accident. He's not even looking and his eyes are on winning a header. I think by far the most likely outcome is he thought he was grabbing his shirt as he challenged for the header

I find the idea he thought, you know what, I'm going to have a better chance here to win the ball if I pull his hair, a bit laughable to be honest.

Clumsy but clearly not deliberate / intentional imo.

If I pick up a tin of beans with my eyes closed or I pick up an orange with my eyes closed, I know the difference. If you feel someone's hair you don't grab on.
