2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

Yes and there will be plenty more examples. But using son running 20 yards in a game of football to tackle gomes is not what i was on about. What i was saying was keanes hair pull was stupid and undefendable yet people saying it should be rescinded.
Oh sorry i seem to have missed you point altogether 🤔

Sons 29 yrd dash with anger in his eyes resulting in a broken leg and a red card ( stupid & undefendable ) yet was rescinded on appeal.

All we want is a bit of consistancy here.

Just don't see how the club can't keep on at them, and asking for an answer specifically re tackle on Armstrong.
I wonder how the refs get away from the stadium sometimes, yeah he's young and taking orders, but if PGMOL hide behind a screen, then they'll have to take the brunt of it. Unless of course someone reveals the location of the VAR officials and a constructive protest takes place there

Remember Niasse getting a retrospective ban for a dive , laughable all the same.
There's nothing to stop them reviewing the stamp on Armstrong ....but they wont because Cavanagh and.............
E-v-e-r-t-o-n .

It’s the way VAR picks and chooses when to get involved that bugs me.

The Armstrong one is one of those, if the ref gives it on field VAR won’t overturn it. But he hasn’t, so they don’t get involved.

How’s the Keane one any different? Why did they feel they needed to get involved in that?

I can accept it varies game to game, official to official. But this was the same game, being “reffed” by the same officials.

weird thing is nobody in the ground had a clue what was happening

even when they said there was a review for violent conduct being checked no one knew if it was for a wolves player or an everton player

apparently the wolves player only wanted a foul as well, he wasn't asking for a red card
This....i had no clue what had happened, the people around me even thought it was something from their striker....

In hindsight nopnes arguing that its a foul, petty and minor but a foul....

Never in a million years is it enough for violent conduct....might as well have butted him, same punishment

I think it comes down to when VAR reviews something they slow it down over and over again making it more egregious I initially thought it was a red but after further thought I could see it as a yellow card

The panel have done us a solid there. Unlucky Davey, you’ll have to put players in their actual positions for a change now mate (or put Rohl at right back with McNeil in front of him 🫣). This also lets Keane recover fully from the neck injury he sustained whilst staring out of his window, open mouthed while watching rain last week.

You are the ine who brought Son into this not me, i was talking about keane who was clearly getting a red card for that. You say we want consistancy which is fine, but im not getting dragged into a tit for tat with two completely different challenges. Keane was in the wrong its not like hes rodwell getting sent off in the derby

Now youve gone and done it bringing Rodwell into it :lol::lol:

Was off the forum so couldn't comment but is it just me that thinks it was obviously deliberate and thus is a red card? Nothing malicious about it but you clearly know the difference in feel between hair and a sweaty shirt.
