Dyche must watch a completely different game to everyone else, we conceded 13 goals in those first 4 games that he started.

He's genuinely been better than Tarky this season so now I'm wondering if JB is that good he made Tarky look like a solid centre back last year, if he plays next to Keane he'll make Keane look like Prime Terry
Tarkowski is just fine, hes just older and playing out of position. Pickford would look quite poor playing in the midfield. Keane is so bad out in space they put the one person who shouldnt be, Tarkowski, in that role instead.

Dyche absolutely bums Keane doesn't he. Can't let an opportunity pass without blowing smoke up his arse. Genuinely don't see him being at pains to explain any other players being in or out of the side, literally nobody else gets detailed reasons given for having been selected or not. The naked pics Keane has of Dyche must be pretty damning.

Grow up.

The much simpler explanation is probably just man management.

Keane has a confidence issue, Dyche is paid to manage that.

On top of that - although we see players like stickers to trade - they are human beings that know and work with each other every day - maybe even look out for each other, heaven forbid.

Dyche also needs to get Jake starting though.

Keep me right here, what is Tarks position?

Yup, Tarkowski is the cover the Keane when they are playing together, its a harder roll to play as centre back than it is 'natural stopper'

Branthwaite comes in and Tarkowski becomes the stopper, a position he is much more comfortable in
