....the least thing I’m concerned about with Keane is his passing. He has far more worrying aspects of his game than passing. I’m really not too bothered if our goalie or CBs can’t pass a ball, I just want them to be an absolute wall to play against.

I almost wonder if we might be better giving Holgate/ Mina a go and giving Keane a rest. In theory their skill sets complement each other more, Holgate with the pace and Mina with the airel dominance not ideal as Holgate is not really ready. But Keane seems like a confidence defender who needs the right partner and he's playing very poorly in many facets.

I agree its just my figure of speech. Maguire isn't much better he's just slightly better on the ball and slightly more commanding.
