Lots of mistakes in the goals. But the second and third he can do better. Especially the third. He's not going to make it in this league at centre back.
Bit harsh for the second,it was in the area so a challenge from behind could very well have led to a penalty.Agree with the third, a bit slow to react, but hardly Keane standard.

Really?

I don't think Liverpool came close to working us out, tbh. We created four gilt-edged chances in that game and had we took just one of them it could all be very different.

But yes, after that we got bogged down and then the form took a hit.

I'm not excusing Silva. I just think it says a lot about the gaggle of ****s that we have as well.
You misunderstand me & im sure Liverpool think we gave them one of there hardest games all season but I meant the period of grace you receive whilst opposition study & work you out ran out around this time.

I don’t think Liverpool care how we play as they will think hey can beat us regardless.

If anything playing so well in that game intensified opposition analysis of us as they will have looked at the game and thought these can play how do we stop them.

Well very easily really double mark Gomez stop Digne & kick the Brazilian all over the park as the refs all hate him & even his own fans slate him for doing much of what the best players in the league have been doing for years yet pundits don’t call them out as they don’t play for Everton.

My take on our centre backs

Keane: decent on the ball and wins his fair share of headers however they seem to go everywhere and anywhere. He sometimes commits too far and gets turned and although he's not slow he rarely seems to recover. Makes an occasional gaff.

Zouma: he is quick and fairly strong but for someone of his size doesn't win enough headers. He is erratic on the ball. He is prone to making errors which he sometimes saves with his pace.

Mina: tall and dominant in the air but is still adapting to the league. He doesn't appear to be very quick and is prone to giving the ball and fouls away in silly areas. He seems to be the best talker.

Holgate: quick and agile however lacks physicality and gets out muscled a lot. He is good on the ball but this is let down by the fact he'll try something difficult instead of just playing basic passes. He may also turn out to be better suited at right back.

Jagielka: at one time one of the best defenders in the league. Could still do a job in an emergency but has lost a yard of pace.
Decent summary

His turn for Cits goal is hilarious. I swear there would be a hundred lads playing amateur footie sat/sun on merseyside who would skin him.

He is nowhere near quick enough for top flight football in any leading country. and I cant see us getting any sort of fee over £7mill.
