Keane was garbage the other day.

That foul was moronic.

We have three CBs who are all good on their day, but just tend to make rash calls. Out of all of them, I'd say Mina's the best. I don't even think he was bad v Millwall really, yet he still made that cock up in losing the header for their first goal.

Zouma can't mark for toffee (sorry) and Keane just makes completely brain-dead decisions far too often.

Keane is a complete liability in open play with our reckless system.

Zouma is a complete liability from set pieces and generally from any sort of cross ball. He doesn't pick up. He doesn't sense danger.

Mina has looked dreadful but has mainly been injured.

Jags is finished and injured but would at least win the odd header.

Holgate was poor, loaned out and is being played as a fullback because he can't defend.

That is it in a nutshell.

He's reverted tolast season, sad to see, I was made up he found a bit of form.

As for form we need to take a full page ad out, missing since December 3rd Everton FC.

That for me is the main thing.

Our season turned on a moment. But frankly, the fact that it did turn on that moment to me says more about the fragility of the entire squad than it does purely about the manager.

It was a fluke, a freak incident that we've not come close to recovering from. That's dreadful.

Tbf, he hasn't.

He played well on his debut at Chelsea, was fine from then on until the City game really. He was then taken out v Spurs, played well at Burnley, and didn't really do anything badly v Brighton?

Since then he's hardly played consistently and then the injury has come.

I'm not saying he looked ace, but he looked very comfortable in his first few games. At the moment the whole unit is a mess.

His upturn in form this season hasn’t changed the fact that he seems to either:

1. Make a mistake which leads to a goal i.e. the silly freekick on Saturday. There was so many things wrong with how he handled that situation.
2. Gets caught out for pace or positioning (particularly with a long ball) which leads to a goal.

Even against Huddersfield in the last minute of the game, what was he thinking? He doesn’t have the intelligence to play for a good footballing side.

I would use the fact that he’s generally played well to get him sold in the summer. Surely a lower PL side would be interested and he’d probably do brilliantly at somewhere like Burnley again.

Zouma on the other hand seems to save a lot more situations than he costs us. I would definitely buy him if possible but we need to be ruthless and sell Keane ASAP.

I do agree that our season turned at the point of the Pickford error.

However it doesn’t take long for teams to work you out & I genuinely think we had a decent run but had been worked out and the derby coincided with this.

We then had a double hit of loss of confidence & teams realising that if you pack the middle of the park stop Gomez and shut down our left back we have no effective way to move the ball forwards.

If he drops Coleman and plays kenny for the rest of the season at least we will know if we need 2 right backs or 1 in the summer.

If he drops Keane and plays zouma & Mina at least we will know how many centre half’s in the summer.

If he plays 3 in midfield at least we will stop being overrun every week and start games with at least half a chance of competing.

Really?

I don't think Liverpool came close to working us out, tbh. We created four gilt-edged chances in that game and had we took just one of them it could all be very different.

But yes, after that we got bogged down and then the form took a hit.

I'm not excusing Silva. I just think it says a lot about the gaggle of ****s that we have as well.

I'm still looking for the three he was at fault for.
To be fair is that not him that doesn't close the bloke down for the 3rd(genuine question, that's the first time I've seen it and i'm on a small screen)? I'd be fuming if he did that for us, it's exactly the sort of half arsed defending we're all complaining about.

Don't think it's just down to form, any manager worth his salt knows when his sytstem has been worked out and makes ch

He could have done better on the second maybe, but the origional poster was pinning the three on him.

The third was someone else taking an airshot. He was pulled into the middle for the second but realistically couldn't make a challenge without giving away a free kick in a dangerous position.

Yeah the third one is the type of problem I've seen a lot when he's in our team. He just doesn't see the danger there at all, he's so slow to react. That type of thing is understandable for someone his age, but for a young lad making his way in the game I want to see a real determination to do your best and show what you can do, and that embarrassing attempt at stopping the shot doesn't paint him in a great light. I don't know the lad but I don't really like the attitude he shows on the pitch. Even when you see that third goal go in there he looks very much like Ashley Williams, puffing his chest out rather than looking gutted that he just cost his team the game. That incident with Donaldson the other week was funny, but it suggests he thinks he's big time, talking down to a journeyman pro because he's a big shot PL player. I suppose some people will say it shows he's a winner, but for me he's not done a lot to back the attitude up with to be honest.

Anyway, back to the point at hand, Keane is even worse.
